Sowbug Round-up is fast approaching and it is time for the 2nd annual Sowbug Round-up swap!!! The rules are simple, 12 tiers that will be attending the event to tie twelve flies to swap. We will meet at my tying station Sat at 10:30am to swap flies and visit. Feel free to tie anything your heart desires. Sign up for this will end Feb 9th. Please have toe tags with your flies. The flies will be due March 17th.

Looking forward to meeting all y’all in Arkansas and doing some fishing and tying. None of us that are going down there has ever set foot in the state, and the photos of the area look beautiful!

I am booked in at the Wildcat Shoals Resort from March10th thru the 18th.
Am also registered as a tier for the 3 days.
Not sure what I will tie but suppose I can think of somethin if I can get some good hackle.
I might add that Dan Bob, Ken & Dad Bob will be staying in my room with me. These 3 guys are fly fishermen and am sure many of you will want to fish with them. They plan on being there the whole time, 10th thru 18th.
They came to the ID FI last Oct and caught way more than their share of fish and all tie a mean fly!
We had another entry this evening. RG is jumping in with a orange sowbug. I can tell you from personal expreince that RG really knows the waters of that area and any fly of his is a fish producer 8) . Only 2 slots remian, don’t get caught watching the paint dry :shock:
Ok Folks we are FULL!! There are some great tiers in this swap,and there will be some first rate flies tied. I did extend it to 13 people,so 13 flies for 13 flies in return. I will be sending email reminders to all as the date comes closer
