My son got his first South American wild turkey (called a powis)he kept a few of the large tail and wing feathers and a few small white ones. I don’t have many feathers only six and would like some advise on a possiable pattern I could tie with them, not to fish but it would be a real trill to him if he ever caught a fish on them,he is nine years old. the pattern has to large since if he decides to try it he will be going after Peacock Bass, I was thinking about the fly of the week but the feathers he kept don’t have any matching pairs.
PS the feathers are large and black
