Sore hands...

My hands (and the rest of my body, for that matter) are sore and splintered, my clothes are all dirty and “nutty” smelling, I’m tired, and I have NEVER FELT BETTER. Spent all day splitting culms, sanding nodes and flaming cane, and after a good long talk with my new “boss”, it looks like I’m going to be doing this for a very long time (take a look at my updated profile under “occupation”). It’s definitely a good time to be me

WOOOOOO HOOOO!! Attaboy Joe! sounds like a heck of a great job to me!!!

Man, I’ll bet that many of us rod builders would just love to be in your shoes…I for one certainly would!
Enjoy every minute of your new occupation, for the door to opportunity is now open for you.
Congrats

  1. You are " hearing from " Joe second hand. As stated before, hes a lot younger than me, and its been pretty awesome when he comes by the house. Cane dust all over him, nutty smell, and his eyes glowing like a little kid at Christmas. He will be a builder for a loooooong time. Its gonna help with my restoring, all the kewl little tricks. Way to go FISHBUM!

Way to go Joe. I’m happy for ya buddy. It’s been
obvious for some time that you had been bitten by the
cane bug and now you have found the niche you were
seeking. Congrats.G Warm regards, Jim

Thanks, guys. Just the sort of support I’ve come to expect here on FAOL. You will most DEFINITELY be kept up to date on my progress.
