It really counts as something special to me to be a part of a website where Veteran’s Day means more than just another day off. Thank you FAOL, for being a part of America that honors her Vets. I served in an Army uniform back in the 60’s, when veterans were not thought of so highly. Now it’s truly heart warming to hear someone say thanks. I personally make it a point to say thanks and shake the hand of every vet I meet. For those who never served in uniform, you can’t realize how gratifying it is to hear, “Thank You.”
Me too Joe! Thank you for your service brother!
thank you Joe, Eric, Ivan, Denny, Steven McGarthwaite And everyone else on Faol who served from one soldier to another. Hugs and remember No one ever get left behind.
As I have said before, I didn’t get to serve, medical reasons, but I greatly appreciate those who have and are serving. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you Veterans this is because of all of you…
WOW! I’ve never heard it performed better. Absolutely nothing wrong with that rendition. It always brings a tear. Thanks Steve.
That was great, thanks Steve. Now I’m easy, but seen T.O. mouthing the words on the sideline raises my opinion of him several notches and I’m not a fan.
How can so many people in the media, politics, entertainment see NFL, NASCAR & MLB events and ignore the reaction of the fans to “The Star Spangled Banner” and a fly over by the military. If you cannot figure out Americans are proud of their country go climb back under your rock.
As a Vet it was one of the major things that drew me to FAOL.
A big thank you to my Dad who served in Korea as an artillery, fire control officer.
Always makes me smile to see another Vet sign up for FAOL. Welcome Home, my brothers and sisters.
