Some real inspiration

Real Inspiration:smiley:

I could row with my right hand if you needed a guy.

Really LOL… Thanks

Now this fisherman obviously has his priorities aligned. My only thought is ,unless you consume ā€œvast quantitiesā€ that beer would turn warm. But, then again, WHY would one think this guy does NOT consume vast quantities if he hauls along a keg for a day of fishin.

Mark

Marco, I wonder if the cold from the water transfers through the hull of his boat to keep his suds cold. Could be that he has a hole cut in the botom of his boat that allows the keg to sit lower in the water to stay cold. Ahhhh the possibilities.

I believe the hole in the bottom of the boat also allows the barrel to sit lower in the water and thereby serve as a ā€œrudderā€ of sorts. The barrel in the boat also allows the quantity and size of the catch to increase exponentially to consumption or something like that …

I sure can identify with this person’s priorities but in my area nitrogen pollution is a major concern. Since urine is the primary source on nitrogen in human waste I think here in the Chesapeake Bay area we’d need to outfit the boat with two kegs - one we empty and one we fill.

Greybeard

Do you have the plans for building this driftboat? hic

Mike

Greybeard,

I would really hope no one confuses the two kegs. Course, after emptying most of the first keg, no one would know the difference.

And all this time I thought I was the only nut in this shell…

I see that waaayyyyy tttttoooooooo mmmmuuuucccccchhhhh time has been spent contemplating this scenario. BUT, I must admit, and to our credit, we have ā€œfertile mindsā€ in our midst.

Steve,

I really enjoyed the pictures in your album. They were GREAT!!!

While all you guys are ogling that keg, take a closer look at how this craft is set up. The two side by side seats are where the rower would sit. The seats would be directly in the way of the rower as it’s set up. Two people, rowing from those nice comfy seats just wouldn’t quite cut it where I float. I’ll pass on heading out with this crew.:stuck_out_tongue:

Lew, heading out? Ya mean we have to get out on the water with that thing. I thought we were just gonna stand around the boat and make sure the keg didn’t run off.

Why go to all the trouble to mount the elixer in a boat, if you aren’t going to float it? Looks like a good way to get away from the cadgers. I’d like to be there to take pictures (from a different boat) after the imbibers have done their thing, and the craft enters the rapids. Should make for a real interestin’ navigation lesson.

I could here and see them now, Lesson hell! We don’t need no
