Not tying flies right now. Finished these up a week ago. Smaller versions of the poppers I posted about a month ago and a couple of “boobie” flies.
I’m not sure these can really be considered “boobie” flies the flotation is foam cylinders made into dumbbells.
Boobie Bugger

Looking darn nice. Boobie Buggers look like a great idea. I don’t think I’ve ever hear of them.
Probably because I just came up with the name. Usually I referred to them as floating woolly buggers. I’ve been tying them for a couple of years, but they were a pain, especially when using the thicker foam cylinders. There was a post on another board, talking about boobie flies using foam cylinders. His idea was to pre-make the heads, foam dumbbells. Jumping on that idea it made tying these a lot easier.
