A while back, I somehow stumbled upon a Facebook group called ?fly tiers anonymous ? (I believe).
The group has beginners as well as some terribly great tiers .
Here’s just one example from a fellow in Indiana. He ties some really beautiful flies.

Yes, it is. It is interesting how well he ties in such a short order. He also posts pictures of very large fish. Not just a tier. He is a successful fisherman too.

Son Tao used to post on a FB tiers’ page, but now uses Instagram. Been following him for some time. A hell of a tier! And he’s currently U.S. Army, I believe.
