Went out yesterday to my favorite stream. Fished all day did really well, mostly on terrestrial’s as the midges that this stream is know for were in between broods. Caught around thirty trout, a mixed bag of rainbows and browns. Was able to catch a hog. Really pretty colored up rainbow that had all the characteristics that you look for in wild trout. I had seen this fish early in the morning behaving badly. I had him come up and literally ram some smaller bows and browns that I had caught. He measured at 27" and had a girth of 14 inches. Calculations estimated his weight at 8.14 pounds. I would say that this fish had been dining on sushi to get as fat as what he was. Anyways here is a couple of pics.
