First off Gary is doing fine. Latest checkup yesterday shows we got all of the thyroid cancer in that area so all that remains in the radioactive iodine treatment.
PET scan of my brother Brad shows that the cancer is only on the right vocal chord, not the right side of the voice box. No other cancer anywhere else in his body. Looks like surgery to remove the right vocal chord along with radiation therapy. He will be hoarse but will not loose his voice.
The is wonderful news, prayer and good doctors go well together. Thank God for the wonderful medical system we have in the USA.
