So, THAT'S how they do it!?

Ya’ ever wonder…“They JUST stocked this crazy creek, so WHERE did all the dang fish…GO??”
Well, the photo and explanation, below, tells all!?
Paul

The owners of a trout farm were left baffled when fish were going missing. But then a wildlife photographer caught their extraordinary escape route on camera.

He pictured the trout making giant leaps out of their pond straight into the metal feed pipe three feet above the water level.

The trout making their escape from the farm

Is that what they call self-preservation .

Rocky

Paul,
I’ve heard of people wanting to escape the (Funny) Farm, but FISH?
Doug

I wonder if that’s how Ohiotuber’s Salt Water Bluegills got to Ohio?

Ed

Funny, you should mention that aspect of it, Ed!?!
Because the very first thing, I thought of, when seeing this picture was… “How long will it be, before I see only The Terror Tuber’s kick fins, sticking out of the end of that tube?”

Lord, knows, that man takes the term “chasing trout”, more literal than any fisherman alive! I hope he doesn’t get stuck too hard in the tube, though, that’d be pretty embarrassing.

But, on third thought…as he’s told me a few times now, (about 3,457 times in one month, to be exact), that; “His body is an exact duplicate to Mr.Universe’s”, maybe he’ll have the needed strength to remove himself, before anyone sees him in it!?!

One can only hope…

Paul

I think I will give up my rod and reel for a large bucket of water.
That is a really neat photo.

Merry Christmas,
Sean

Wow! That’s awesome! You see them jumping small waterfalls over rocks and stuff like that.

But I’ve never seen anything like that. One might think that the pipe was shooting the fish into the water…but the fish are all aligned just so. They are aimed straight toward the pipe. If they were coming OUT of the pipe I wouldn’t think they would be aligned in such a manner.

Thanks for the great pic!!
