As sure as I am that George F. Grant’s flies were not sold for the same 35cents each that Franz Pott’s flies were…LOL
Just a thought, nice fly by the way, would snowshoe work for the tail/shuck?

Good idea Alan. Although, I think I would need to use a tannish shoe for the tail to represent the shuck?
A more traditional version of a PMD. I tied the abdomen in the way most do. I usually tie mine with the smooth side out, but think I am in the minority, so I defer.
I just love tying with snowshoe. I think it’s much easier to see on the water and floats longer than CDC.
