here in a couple of weeks im going to the snake river. i am wondering if anyone has fished it before, and what kind of flies i should use. there is bass, crappies, and cat fish. any suggestions would help, thanks

Don’t know where exactly you are going but I would take some wooly buggers in a good assortment of colors chartruse and black work well. I would also include mohair leeches and some holloween leechs. One other fly that has become a mainstay in my arsonal is the soft hackle. Other then that I can’t help ya sorry
I have one question what part of the Snake River in Idaho are you going to be fishing, The Snake River leaves Idaho at lewiston and Clarkston on the west side going north toward the columbia river and enters Idaho on the east side near where highway 26 cross over to wyoming going through Idaho falls. The area you plan on fishing would mean a lot of the fly selction your asking about.
