As always I am always interested in old fly patterns, and the materials that they were comprised with. Your site is one of my “Favorites”, and I trust your research into the diminished information of these wonderful fly patterns.
Language changes through the years, and words change meaning and context. I will be interested in the further work on bird listings (incomplete) to better understand what bird were use originally, and what would be considered suitable substitute, for todays tying attempts of the old patterns.
I always appreciate all information and articles that you have on your site, and those that you have sent me, by email.
