An addition to the Skues section on my site - Comments
Hope it is of interest.
I have just re-read Skues comments and they could have been written yesterday.
In this short extract, he covers almost everything to be said about wet flies and
nymphs. I really would recommend Skues to any fly dresser/angler.
The fact that he wrote this 100 years is irrelevant.
By-the-way it would be useful to remember that in the UK, many US ‘wet flies’
are regarded as ‘lures’. We think of ‘wet’ flies as something more specific.
But, some flies are sometimes both at the same time.
It is a funny old language this!!

I went to your site and clicked on menu and then saw Skues in the top right part and was the only thing that my cursor wouldn’t target on or maybe easier to say, it went no where.All other names in that area the cursor would target.Skip
I have cured the problem.
