I see the big news these days is the ban on skinny fasion models. Do you suppose Simm’s will be coming out with a size zero wader for the Twiggy fly gal? Sounds like I might need a size R for rotund. Where will it end?

I personally wish they would. I am 5’8" with a 36" inseam and wear a 3/4 in womens and a 27/28 in mens.
Tough for me to find waders and I have an 8 1/2 womens shoe size.

Fly Goddess - I know what you mean about one size does not fit all. I order my clothes mostly on-line from a supplier in Pennsylvania. They cut my pants to my inseam and provide the waist size I need. They are resonable and even carry Carhart. My Wranglers are another thing. Those I have the inseam sewn up locally by a neighbor seamstress. Now back to waders…I think there would be a market for custom waders, especially for women. If there is not already one, perhaps someone like yourself could be the middle-man (women) and take the orders and work with say, Simms to provide them for your customer. Your time would be worth a percentage of the final cost…just a thought. I use to do that back in the 70’s with Zeitgruber Swiss leather ski boots. I took the cast of the foot, sent them to Switzerland, in about a month the customer got their custom boots and we were all happy. Now how do you cast a lower torso?
