Six More Weeks

Punxsutawny Phil has spoken. 6 more weeks of Winter. :?

60+ the past few days and 50s for the next 7 days; Phil needs to re-think his forecast.

Regards,
Scott

It will take six more weeks for us in Kansas to even see any winter. No snow falls over a inch, and the last four days the temp has been in the 60’s for a high. Thank you Global Warming, I like your style.

There is no way that little rat saw a shadow today. He just wants more sleep!

With over 14,000 people there, I doubt he got any sleep last night.

The southern branch of his family Beaugard Lee, resident of the Yellow River game ranch, Lilburn, GA said to expect a early spring. B. Lee boast a 94% accuracy rate. I think they are both politicans and cannot be trusted. You have to make it through Febugly and then face March which is the most fickled of all months, expect anything from ice storms to windstorms maybe the same day.

Wihle driving to work this morning I saw a groundhog I am going to use as my “Puxatawney Phil”. He will be making no predictions as it appears while looking for his shadow he failed to see an oncoming vehicle. No prediction is a good prediction!!!

Yep, appears it will be a 100 degrees when May rolls around!

Joe, I tried to warn ya! Anyone that was up this A.M. when they pulled Phil out of his hole knew he was going to see his shadow as the sun was on the way up.

Well, Woodstock, Illinois’ own Woodstock Willy didn’t see his shadow. And, since the movie was filmed in Woodstock, I trust him. Really. I do. Honest.

We have yet to HAVE winter, so 6 more weeks for it to show up is a good thing. 72% snowpack today.

Octarora Orphie didn’t see his. Which isn’t surprising since he is a stuffed groundhog.

We just dodged a bullet here in Rock River, just north of Laramie about 40 miles. The big storm hit primarily from Laramie south with the big snows concentrating on Denver et al. Glad it’s them and not us. Temps here are stilll in the 20s at night and lower, wind every day to 45 kts, some snow on the ground and thiongs in general frozen up tight. I’d say we are lookoing at at least 6 more weeks of winter if nto more but unfortunately we haven’t any ground hogs to helps us with the predicitions, just Prairie Dogs and they aren’t even out yet!

… a river otter, took a stroll between open pockets of water yesterday …

… and predicted it will be six more weeks until this creek is fishable.

Great one John!
