Has any used or heard of Sisters Compound Rods out of Oregon? I saw them at the Sportsman’s Expo last weekend…comments are greatly appreciated.
fishnski,
This won’t answer your question but it will bump it…they must be made in Sisters ,Oregon but I’ve not heard of them…there are members though that are from around there and may know.
There is a very nice fly shop in Sisters, Oregon, The Flyfishers Place. They have been in Sisters for as long as I can remember. You might drop them a line and inquire about your rod in question at Flyfishersplace.com
We have a cabin on Camp Polk road just out of town, been in the family for over 50 years. Sisters is a great starting point for fly fishing in central Oregon. Three Sisters Mountains view will take your breath away. Good luck, Jonezee
We handled some at an ISE show several seasons back. We were quite favorably impressed with the “feel” of them. We had a real itch to try one for some time. The itch did not get scratched and has subsided quite substantially by now.

Thanks everyone…that’s where I saw them at an ISE show…they did cast nice and he had a rod that could double as a spinnng rod as well (only six feet and you could cast a 6 wt on it about 50 feet). I had an itch too and was thinking about scratching it. I’ll touch base with the fly shop in Sisters and see what they have to say!
tight lines all
The best time to go fishing is when it’s raining and when it’s not
