I am posting a link from another bulletin board here. If that’s a big no no, please remove this thread. I just thought that it is such and important safety consideration that we should sharpen our wading skills at the beginning of the season and not at the end. Maybe someone here could contact Simms and ask if we can host the video series on this board like Spey Clay did then we could just make it a sticky and remove the link to the other board.
It’s a six part video on how to wade safely. I learned a thing or two from the series. I sent links of this series to my friends that I want to be able to see at the end of the fishing season, I made my wife watch it with me. I bought a second wading belt for myself, wife and one fishing partner. We all have wading staffs too.

I don’t think you can link/re-create the search, but clicking on the “Search” button on that site and entering “wading safety” will bring up the links to the six parts of that video. It definitely is a good and very informative wading safety video. I ordered one from Simms many years ago and still have it in the VHS format. I don’t know that they ever issued it as a DVD - I don’t see any reference on their site - but they definitely should. Nice that someone has been able to transfer it to a web-friendly format so everyone can see it. If you haven’t watched it, or haven’t done so recently, definitely advisable to do so.
