SHHHH!!! Don't tell Zac ....

That is one sweet stick! Zac you are a very lucky guy!
Betty as usual your work is beautiful.

Zac, you must have done something nice for you Mom or someone when you were young to deserve that rod. You are going to love that grip, I built a couple 3wt and used that grip, (didn’t do nearly as good a job as Betty). You get a good bream on and you can feel the arc of the rod through the handle, multiply the fun.

Did you go with a gold tutu to match the rod?

Betty, I wondered if you were ever going to build that blank out. Looks good! That other one looks like a honey of a rod, too!

Kevin,
Life sort of got in the way for a while. But, it is done, and done really kewl, too!! Hope I have a chance to fish it!

Betty, nice work young lady. Lefty was right about BS in flyfishing being more than a Kansas feedlot! Should you ever get over here to the Sedalia/Knob Noster area, let me know we will set up a fishing trip to some pond/lake, take care, John.

Betty! that blank is absolutely fabulous, and throws a 4wt line beautiful. At our ISE show a couple of months ago, Cinda the manager of the Orvis store here, was almost casting it to the backing with a cheap 10.00 ebay line on it, and couldn’t belive the performance of it for the brand and cost of the blank.

Very nice build Betty! Zac is pretty antsy to get his hands on it- got some 'gills and WB going in a local lake right now. Hope he gets it before he wets himself!! LOL!!

White bass on this rod would be all-out WAR. It might have to happen soon…

Hi All,

Betty, two beautiful rods!

I am truely worried about the gills, crappie, and white bass in Zacs neck of the woods. They were in danger before, and this is not going to make them safer.

Zac, let us see some photos when you catch some fish on that beautiful new stick!

Regards,

Gandolf
