Can anyone tell me what’s going on with Whiting. I Look for HEN NECKS, accepting that they aren’t bothering to grade them anymore, but find that they are not available at all. My usual mail-order sources say that they were told that this is the harvesting season but are given no promise about when necks will be forthcoming. A couple local retailers have told me repeatedly that this problem is because USA bred hackles are being sent offshore creating a scarcity especially with the bird flu threat overseas. Can anyone correct these possible misstatements?

why don’t you contact Connranch hackle, I have gotten hen form Dennis and they are of very good quality for a good price, he is a sponcer here. Just drop him an email or give him a call, I am sure he will have what you want.
