Shannon's Streamer

I picked up this off the North Georgia Trout On Line website. I have not tried the fly but for going after bass, crappie and stripers this appears to be a very good possibility. Obviously, they borrowed it from the captioned website. Mama always said we should share.

I wonder it a mini model can be tied with chennille.

That’s a great looking fly; nice video (although Mr. Cornwall has a voice like a Ronco pitchman  ). Thanks for the link.

Scott

This is one I tied with regular chenille. I believe it was medium sized chenille. I now have some of that much larger chenille that a couple of people sent me. I used the Liquid Nails on some of these. But I prefer to use Bug Bond, although that takes a lot of it to cover the head properly.

Kel,

I believe that will catch fish. I made one with a large chennille but didn’t have white marabou so I made a brown one, kind of like a plastic worm. I think a shorter shank hook might give it a little more action.

P.S Ck your PM

Uncle Jesse,

Thanks so much for sharing that pattern! It looks like a “killer” and I will be tying some tonight!

Thanks so much,

It looks like Ian Collin James’ Puke Fly, and tying it with white rabbit dubbing means you can make it any size you want.

I made one right after I saw the video. Its a real cool pattern.
