Millennials with 20/10 may not care, but for geezers and poor casters like me, the 2-tone wing makes it easier to find it on the water. Tied here in shades of PMD; change colors to suit your needs.

hook - Dai Riki 125 #16
thread - UTC 70 hopper yellow
shuck - Congo Hair brown/Krystal Flash pearl
abdomen - Spectrablend PMD
rib - Krystal Flash pearl
wing post - Congo Hair dun
indicator - Parapost hot orange
hackle - barred cream
thorax - dubbing yellow

Part 1

mash barb, start thread at point above point

tie in CH and KF; fold and wrap back halfway down the bend

tie in rib

dub abdomen up to initial tie-in

rib abdomen

tie in wing/indicator

post it

tie in hackle, shiny side out

dub thorax

wrap hackle from the top down, cup side up; let the tip hang down, tie off at base, trim tip, one wrap through thorax then half hitch x 2, SHHAN

trim shuck, trim wing (cut the front half short to expose indicator)
