Shadowy St. Joe

Joe -

Really enjoyed your Homewaters article on the St. Joe. Got to get up to that part of the state one of these days and give it a go. Maybe we can meet there sometime and share some water ??

Agreed. Nice read, Joe, along with some nice photos. Makes me look forward to getting back up there. (Heck, anything makes me look forward to getting back up there.) Well done, Joe.

Joe:

I have not fished the St. Joe for over a decade now but your story brought back many great memories. I remember when they first opened the road along Marble Creek. An amazing number of 20’ cutts came out of that stream before it was “fished out.” That is a wonderful part of the country. We used to also do a few family canoe trips down the Joe each year and my kids (now in their 30s) fell in love with wilderness in that river valley.

Thanks, for the memories.

Joe,

That’s a great tribute to the St. Joe! I was blessed to be able to fish the Joe quite a bit this year. It’s “shadowy mystique” never grows old and I too am happy to call it’s banks home. Best Regards…
