Self Videos for casting help

The recent post for “casting help” got me wondering…

There is a golf pro with a website you can join for a monthly fee that includes the ability to send to him a video of your golf swing and he will discuss it online with you…a form of lesson…

I’m wondering if you think this is feasible for fly casting…especially what LF & JC think…

OK, JC, what does “Very Happy” mean? :?:

I will want to practice a while with my DHD before I send anything in. However, this reminds me that I have everything I need to video myself and review the results. Has anyone ever done this? Does it help? Do you need a coach?

I often thought about recording my cast and posting it on YOUTUBE and then asking FAOLers for opinions. Did’nt want all of you to get coffee on your monitors (especially after it blew through your noses) when you watched it though so I haven’t done it.

Wasn’t JC talking about video streaming for this site but he hasn’t played with his new toy enough???

I think it would be a heck of an idea if it works.
Whether it should be a Feature on FAOL only JC can tell us that and He is too busy grinning like a cheshire cat. Hee Hee

There are plenty of very knowlegeable people on here who could spot trouble spots In our casts very quickly and offer suggestions.

OK Duckie, but I don’t even want MINE on tape!

Um aren’t you already on tape demonstrating the DHD device. It sure looks like you, unless it is your Evil twin Marvin.
