Screwy spring!

As will be described in my column this coming week, I did really good last weekend on my first trip of the spring.

Forecast for this weekend: Strong cold front coming through associated with strong thunderstorms and winds 15-25 mph.

Who’s practicing voodoo on me???

Hey, Roger, maybe you got a cajun sore at you . At least you had it good the last weekend. Bream and LMB fishing has really been good here but we’re going to get the same cold front you are so our fishing will be spotty afterwards also.

I even caught a little warmouth yesterday . I’ve been doing really good on size 8 (Aberdeen) yellow foam pushers (Dennies type Dremel bug) with a green hackle collar and green chartreuse marabou tail. Love that top-water action while it lasts .

I doubt it was a Cajun…they fish harder than me any day!

I got vacation week after next. I am crossing my fingers the weather straightens out that week at least.

Best,
R

RStouff,

You are just getting my weather that messed up the last seven days for me. All of them I had off but mother nature say fit to, at the very least, let the WYO wind play havoc with my days off. Back to work tonite, beautiful weather for the next four days, wouldn’t you know.
