Has anyone cast the new G2 yet? I am a Scott fanatic and the new G2 is my favorite. A little slower than the S3 its an awesome rod to throw drys with. Just was currious what everyone else thought of the G2
I have cast the G2, and found it to be an excellent rod. Very light and responsive, with a nice smooth medium action. I cast the 4wt and 5wt, Both where great rods. Great attention to detail on the rod as well, very good build quality. I own one of the original G rods, and I have always been a fan of that action.

I too, own a 3wt G rod also. I have cast it equal in the new G2 series.
To me, it felt just like my old rod. No better, no worse… Just the same. I’m probably going to get a G2 2wt at some point.
