I have a 9’ 6wt Legend Ultra (the new IPC) and am considering purchasing the GPX for it.

There are no fly shops in my area and none of the box stores carry it. So test casting it is out of the question. Before I plunk down $60 I like to get some feed back from those of you that are using it.

Best line to ever come down the pike. Especially if you don?t throw the whole fly line every cast. It will load the rod faster for short casts and still make it feel like it is fully loaded. It does tend to soften the action on long casts but it is a pleasure to use. You?ll love it.

I have it and love it. Its on my 6wt. Elkhorn Bass rod and my 4wt Gatti Trout rod.

Thanks for the reply. I am so gun shy about buying anything without trying it first. But this will be the case.

It’s great line; long, short, don’t matter, it does what you want it too.

And, you can test it first. Cabela’s. Exchange, credit, refund; no questions asked.
