Is S/A no longer making metal fly reels? I went to their site and they only advertise 1 reel, and it’s a Concept Model 58 composite.
Too bad, they made some very durable reels that offered a very good value. I have a System 2L 5/6 and a System 2 8/9 for light saltwater both of which have never given me a bit of problems.

I think their decision to acquire Ross reels caused them to stop making the SA reels.
Didn’t know that, but there’s a lot I don’t know.
