Very nice fly, is that your own invention or a recognized pattern. What is the dubbing behind the hackle?
Thanks
like most flies it’s a combo of patterns… the thorax area is Antron fiber…
Harry,
Any chance you’ll be posting a tutorial on your website of that fly? Looks to be a killer pattern.
Bones,
That looks extremely fishy…Very nice tie
Byron
Cool fly, beautifully photographed; that one goes in the box this summer. Thanks Harry, glad to see you back at the vise.
Regards,
Scott
In truth, I have not had much time to do tutorials in the last few years… Often wonder if vids are the way to go or stills with text… like I have done in the past.
just different materials
Harry,
Both flies look great, but that second one just screams to be tied non a scud type hook. Great looking flies.
REE
Thanks Ron
that hook is a 9300 TMC…it’s a pretty hefty pup, 1XH, wide gape. What hook are you recommending?
Something like a DaiRiki #135 would make that one look sharp!
I’m still convinced the still photos with text are much better than the videos, hard to stop the video at “just the right place” when you miss something. And of course we would love to have this one as well <G> (Like #2 best)
Hugs,
LF
Beautiful work Harry
kinda like this?
Very nice Harry !!!

Harry,
That’s it exactly. Looks perfect to my old tired eyes.

Love it! Excellent ties, sir.
All of them are beautiful. Well Done.
Nice flies. I know they will catch a mess of fish alrighty.
