like most flies it’s a combo of patterns… the thorax area is Antron fiber…

In truth, I have not had much time to do tutorials in the last few years… Often wonder if vids are the way to go or stills with text… like I have done in the past.

Both flies look great, but that second one just screams to be tied non a scud type hook. Great looking flies.

that hook is a 9300 TMC…it’s a pretty hefty pup, 1XH, wide gape. What hook are you recommending?

Something like a DaiRiki #135 would make that one look sharp!

I’m still convinced the still photos with text are much better than the videos, hard to stop the video at “just the right place” when you miss something. And of course we would love to have this one as well <G> (Like #2 best)
