Salty Swap

Howdy all.
This is my first time hosting a swap. I’m eager to see a saltwater swap.

We’ll go like this:

  1. 7 swappers and myself.
  2. Tie your favorite saltwater pattern. It can be for any saltwater fish, in any climate.
  3. Flies due by the 15th of July.
  4. Send an email to ray.penny@gmail.com to get all of the detailed info (i.e. address, etc).
  5. Respond here. We’ll close the signups after we’ve filled all of the spots.

Hope we’ve got a few pirates interested…of course, other non-pirate types are welcome to sign up!

cheers,
-Ray

O.N.
Would you do another SW swap in the winter so we got time to join?
…lee s.

Sure thing, Lee.

Any more takers?

I’m in. I’ll let you know what I’ll be tying.

Leo C.

Come on guy’s. Just how long can it take to tie up 7 flies. Let’s give Okie_Noodler a good fist swap. Everyone does fish the salt, don’t you? I’m sure I can come up with one you would be proud to get. A little over a month to tie also.

Leo C.

Thank you, sir.

I’ll play

Nick

I haven’t emailed any of you, because I was waiting for more people to sign up.

Any more takers, or is this one dead?

Kind of a bummer…I was really looking forward to hosting a swap.

Hang in there Okie_Noodler The swap is not dead yet. You are doing a good job. John

I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

We can still do a small one if there is no more interest, ex, tying two different patterns instead of one

Heck, I’ll help a guy out with his first swap. The only problem is I don’t know much about those salty fish or their patterns. I’ll need to get some hooks, but I think I have a pattern that I’d like to try for a saltwater gurgler or a maribou shrimp.

Alright Blue!

Ok, Only 3 left…

Make my fly the gurgler. The pattern is looking good so far.

Ok twist my arm.
