Salt Water Tying Materials - Where to Buy?

I have never fished salt water species and most likely never will have a chance. However, I do fish for pike and musky and tie flies for these species.

I am finding that many of the traditional places to purchase tying materials lack larger versions of materials. Can some of you salt water folks put me on to a few suppliers of tying materials for salt water species? Perhaps I can get larger materials there.

Thanks

Rick

Rick, this advice is coming a little late, but i find the best place to buy materials is at the flyfishing shows because there are a lot of different vendors in one location so you can really pick and choose.

Rick, most of the major catalogue houses will have saltwater materials.

The advantage to buying at shows is the ability to feel and handle the material.

Let me recommend using yak hair for saltwater sized Clousers. The translucency of the white hair is superb.

BT’s FF Products is in the sponsor’s section. I do not know their specialties.
We get some stuff from

Some of the stuff we have not found elsewhere.

Thanks everyone. I have done some searching and found a few other good locations for saltwater materials that should work nicely for pike and musky.

I also spent some time with a few of the catalogs I have received and some of them have a fair selection of materials for bigger flies.
