I tried Mustad salmon double hooks for the first time this year. I always use a clinch harness for single salmon hooks, but noticed because of the large eye on the double hook the clinch harness has very little strength. I also tried the turl knot with the same effect.
Does anyone have a harness knot that works with salmon doubles, or is an improved clinch knot the way to go? Any info will be appreciated.
