My “starter” 6wt rig needs a new home, just in time for Christmas! It includes a made in USA medalist 1494da, sa wf6f trout line, and a Sage Launch 2 piece 6wt 9 foot and rod case. The reel works great. The SA Trout line, I think, is perfectly matched for this med-fast rod. The line is used, but has lots of life in it; I have repaired the loop with Zap A Gap. I probably would clip it off and nail knot in a loop if I were going to keep it. The rod has a superficial “rub” near the ferrule (see pic) and I put a couple blue “hero” dots at 12" and 20". It will make a great starter for a young person or a backup rig. Add a leader and fly and you are ready to fish! Since I got my BVK I just dont use it anymore, so maybe someone will have as much fun with it as I did. The price is right, I think.
