Roscoe Fish-In, Song

Like many of you coming to the Fish-In, I’ve been counting down the days since the 1st of the new year. Well, it’s down to 7 days, for me, and maybe a little more or less for some of you. Anyway, at the beginning of this month(May) I remembered the ‘rock & soul’ song by Edwin Star. The title was “25 Miles”. The lyrics count down the days till he gets home. So, I’m wondering, does anyone have a song title that relates or reminds them of the Fish-In or fishing?

Weird thoughts but the Fish-In is occupying most of my thought processes these days.

Hey Tye,

Alas, I have not yet attended an honest
to gosh official Fish-In, however, anything
that can create so much excitement and
sincere interest and anticipation as I have
seen from some of the crusty old coots here
must be a truly awesome event.G I mean
that in the kindest way and I eagerly look
forward meeting some of the genuine fonts
of knowledge and wisdom that frequent these
hallowed boards and putting faces on the
personalities I have come to respect so much
here.G Perhaps next year. Warm regards,
Jim

The one ‘Long way’s to go, and a short time to get there.’

“Let it rain”. Don’t remeber who performed it.

Anticipation!!!

The more time I spend around people the more I like my dog.

lou T,

The song with that title that I recall was done by Eric Clapton. Not sure if he was with Cream at the time.
