Just a kudos to Midwest Custom Rods. I purchased a rod from them. I love the rod. Just as described, and very very well built. I love it.

I haven’t mentioned it to Steve yet, but I wonder if he’d be able to build a tiny aquarium inside a rod butt? THAT would be REALLY COOL! I know, I know…how do you keep the fish alive? And I suppose the casting would make any fish seasick. But a guy can dream…

A bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 was all it took to entice that motley crew. 
I bought my wife her first rod from him. He customize a 6’, 2 wt with her name, a rose wood reel seat and pink thread for the guides. I assume the pink guides were to deter me from using her flyrod.
