I recently bought a rod that is wrapped with a “blood red and black variegated” thread. I would like to add a hookkeeper to the rod but don’t have any thread to match.
Was wondering if anyone had some of that color and if I could buy at least a few feet. I think they used to call the stuff tiger wrap. It’s basically a red thread with a black ,sort of stripe, woven in on it.

I think you are talking about what is called"jasper" twist. i have some in both silk or nylon. If you rod is newer then it’s probably nylon. PM me you address.

get your self some black/white jasper - dye the tread red - you will end up with red/black jasper
