I have been rock fishing( lngcod seabass flatfish etc.) and i was wondering if anyone has any good flies for them. i uses sand lance patterns and herring patterns. If you could post a picture it would be nice.

I typically use flashtail clouser minnows or Blanton’s flashtail whistler for this application. A search of the web will find photo and instructions for these. Ken Hanley has developed a number of flies for west coast inshore fishing including the Gold Buccaneer. See
