What an awesome prize!!! I know I would give my right and left nut (if I had them :lol: ), to get a chance at building a rod like that. For now I can only dream and keep building graphite rods. Iā€™m still waiting to win the Lottery! LOL

I have a friend who builds beautiful cane fly rods, and heā€™s constantly telling me, ā€œDeb, you really must try building some!ā€ :shock: As I pointed out to him, I canā€™t afford the tools!!! :roll: LOL

Iā€™ve been building rods for over 30 years and can be pretty snobby about my style. But I have to say my expertise is in gaining high quality performance from the less expensive.

If I won this one Iā€™d have to change style and contact some of the artists on the board like dleo for some real expert advice. The components to do this one justice would break the bank - but it would definitely be worth it. :smiley:

Thats an awesome prize from a great Sponsor. I read thru His website and am very impressed by his pictures. I checked the price list, however I did not find anywhere that indicates that He sells blanks just beautifully finished rods.

Now I have to go clean the drool off my keyboard. :?

Hope whoever wins this enjoys the rod they end up making from it. This blank makes my personal favorite rodā€¦ itā€™s a rocket and will do anything you want it to do with ease.

As for price, in the past, Iā€™ve only sold very few blanks. Iā€™m working on a price list now to post on my website, but it will take awhileā€¦ Iā€™m a rodmaker, not a website builder, so these things take awhile for me!!! LOL

If anyone is interested in prices for blanks, just email me and Iā€™ll be happy to send you a price list.

BTW, whoever wins this can call or email me for assistance in putting the rod together. Iā€™ll be more than happy to help in any way I can.
