Rio's new Agent X fly line dressing

I just heard from Rio that they have come out with this new fly line dressing. They told me they started sending it to their accounts last week. Has anybody gotten any yet or heard anything about it?
Also, what is your opinion of Rio’s Poo Goo? Any better or worse than the other silicon floatants on the market?
Thanks,
Joe

I have used quite a bit of Poo Goo, and it gives you a good bit of confidence, because it goes on kind of sticky - you think it is going to be better at staying on, but I don’t think it is really any better flotant.

I looked on rio’s site . Agent x was described as the process by which they make the new low density tough fly lines

Right. And now they’ve put out a line dressing with the Agent X name on it.
Here’s the quote from the email I received from them after I asked them about caring for the new lines (by the way, they got back with me VERY quickly after I emailed my question):
“We recommend washing your flyline in luke-warm water and drying completely. Then apply a thin coat of Poo Goo (or another 100% silicone) or RIO’s new AgentX line dressing. Allow AgentX dressing to dry and then buff-off. With silicone wipe off all excess immediately.”

I went by and talked to the guys at the local fly shop this afternoon and, as luck would have it, the Rio rep had been there earlier today telling them about the new line dressing. They told me that as long as you clean the line after a day’s use it shouldn’t need any treatment for at least a year or so. Only after the Agent X from inside the line has been worn out would you really need to redress it.
