Rio Saltwater lines for 2005

Has anyone tried any of the new 2005 Rio lines designed for throwing large, heavy flies? They’re showing the same new taper for their new Saltwater, Clouser, and Striped Bass lines, with a thicker 10-13 foot section at the tip.
Do they work well? Are they really that much better thatn a standard WF line with Clouser-type flies?
The Striped Bass line in an Intermediate sink with a clear tip looked tempting to me, but I’d like to hear that the performance matches the hype.

I have used the Tarpon and Clouser Tropical lines extensively for two weeks last fall in Australia and did feel they were better than standard WF lines as advertised. I’ll be using them for locally for LM Bass.

not sure if they are the new 2005 lines, but there are a bunch of rio lines on sierratradingpost.com

I saw the STP ad. They had some good deals (their SA Uniform Sink in 8 or 9 wt that listed for $50 and was advertised for $28 they actually sold for $12).
But the Rio lines were older, not this new taper.
I got several positive answers on their new line; think I’ll try one.
Thanks for the responses.

I changed from a S/A Bonefish line to the Rio Clouser and I like it alot. It is able to handle heavier flys and I am able to cast a lot further with it.
