It looks like the 90 day deadline didn’t hold up eh? I guess that I have to tie some flies this weekend to try and get them out next week sometime.

Nick, this has been one of the most aggressive swaps I’ve been in. Within a week of the announcement the first two arrived, and it’s been steady ever since. Amazing. In the olden days a train’s success was determined by the guys in the cabosse. Nothing wrong with being the last guy in. We look forward to your flies. So far we’ve had a very good swap. Beautiful, fishy looking flies. JGW
sniffle. sniffle. WHAAAAAAAA!!!
Boo Hoo Hoo Hoo. HOOOO Hooo hoo. snif.
I want my flies.
I don’t understand the point of half of these posts. just be patient. the flies’ll arrive. if’n you really can’t wait, set yer ass down at the vise and tie some up and go fishing.

Mikeytwoshoes, I hope that the other posts are like mine and strictly trying a little stab at humor. Trying to be a little witty I may be coming off as dimwitty, or halfwitty ,but life is really too short not to have some fun. I appreciate the effort of the swaphost and I hope the posts have come off as humorous as they are intended. Thanks Robb
please don’t get me wrong.
I appreciate the humor.
I guess it was the whining and boo hoo stuff that struck my hot button.

Mikey-
Alright honey, I’ll hand you a cold glass of water if you pass me the tissues.
Flies go to the postoffice tomorrow morning.

The last of the flies arrived today. I’ll make a concentrated effort to get the flies rearranged, repackaged and mailed by Wednesday. Thanks everyone. The flies look very good. JGW
The flies are in the mail. Now, you will find a black foam fly with rubber legs extending through the body. This is from our “mystery” tyer, none other than Rick Z! We had more than enough for me to fill a box to send to Lamona with his name on it. This was great fun for me, and I hope you have fun with the flies. Please post here when they arrive. Again, thanks everyone for participating. Some of you were quite generous and it was thoroughly appreciated. We’re sure to have some tight lines with these babies! JGW

For that foam fly. You can tie on your leader and then pull they eye of the hook back into the foam. You can then turn the point above the foam and pull this over vegetation, scum or other things. No thread used on the fly at all.
You can trim the legs to the length you want.
They are shoved thru with a darning needle, no glue.
Rick
No glue eh, darn clever these fellows from Iowa!

Folks. I didn’t toe tag my flies, which I see is a major no-no for swappers. My fly was the Cyperts Minnow. I studied all the flies this morning at breakfast and they all look great. One of you folks sent me some very realistic house flies, one of which was whapped by the wife as she complained to me about leaving the patio door open while grilling some chicken. Funny moment. JGW
No more whines, no more cries
flyangler got her flies.
Nice looking bunch, too. And on just the day I wanted to go lake fishing, too!
Thanks all, especially JG
I got these today and am very impressed.
thanks to one and all, especially rick z for the inspiration and the host for putting it all together.

Received mine in yesterday’s mail. Good job by all. Thanks to J. White for a fine job of hosting seeing as I was the last one in. Thanks for letting me part of this one.
