New water I have never fished before
We went out this morning and a little
of early afternoon. Rich landed 25 on
the girdle bug. He caught a mixture
of browns and brooks. Biggest brown
was 14ish and biggest brookie 12ish.
Rich had one brown break him off
that was about 18 i guess.
I batted clean up and caught 18. Mine
were a mixture of browns and brookies.
Biggest browns 17/16/16/15 inches.
Biggest brookie 13ish.
Are you kidding us ?? There is water in Wisconsin that you haven’t fished before ??

way out in boonies.
some bluff holes were loaded with
fallen leaves. Made it hard to cast.
They were also loaded with fish that we spooked when
we casted. It was on upper area of a very popular stream
in Crawford County. The brookies were neon colored.
There were no tracks and no path in the weeds. Bet in
Wisconsin’s early season those bluff holes will be 30 fish holes.
There are 4 bluff holes.
That looks like it would be a fun little place to throw my 000WT. Great report!
