I have some right here and it is definitely not solid. It is about 1/16" in outside diameter and maybe 1/32" inside diameter. Guess I’d also call it flexible (definitely more flexible than a typical mono leader butt section).Here’s a picture of some orange S’Getti on a section of 15 lb. (.013") yellow Amnesia. It easily slides over the largest butt material I have which is .021".

So far I haven’t received it yet, John. I’ll let you know how I like it. I make my own nymphing leaders so, even if it’s a little big, the knots will keep it from sliding.
