Life is still simple. Sometimes, I still fish with a cane pole…
I remember as a small child tying my pole to my bicycle and carrying a box of lures and that was it. Also going to the beach was much easier then. No kids, no toys for every kid on the beach to play with, just a towel on my bike rack. Ah. those were the days.
Simpler, I’m not so sure, as I also remember hiding under our desk in the second and third grades as part of nuclear bomb drills…
