This. Great customer service and great products.
Another thought. This is getting dangerous, lol. Anyone see the advertisement on tv for a spray water-proofing rubber sealer? It’s one of those items they advertise for $(not sure how much) but the ‘special offer’ is 2 for that same price. I seem to remember that when dry it is pliable so it would be okay for waders. I’ve heard that the stuff works but not sure if it’s supposed to work on neoprene though. It comes in black as well as clear.
I’ve been going to get some of that, Allan, thanks for the reminder.
Why not just buy new waders?
Cost of waders divided by number of years used = cheap entertainment.
Not made anymore. Great fit.
get another pair of Cabela’s waders. A few years back when I decided to buy my first set of GOOD waders I compared all the ones I could get my hands on. Having a Cabela’s, Bass Pro, Gander, and other stores within driving distance let me do some honest looking. Settled on Cabela’s (can’t remember the model… pro guide maybe) for a number of reasons. First was that the quality of materials and workmanship equalled Simms for half the price. Some of us literally can not afford $500 or more for waders. Secondly, they stock TALL sizes with no special order or higher price. Third, in decades of buying things from Cabela’s, I can not remember anything which I was dis-satisfied with. On the rare occasions I needed to use their customer service, it was invariably top-notch.
