Doug,
OH…BASEBALL!!..ok, I was referring to football & basketball!!

Jack…Here’s your post back!
Mike

Anyhoo! Jack,
We won’t reject you! GO BEAVS! Today against Cal. Irvine

DShock,

OK, everyone else has hijacked Jack’s thread, so, I will too! Maybe if his name was not “Jack” people would stop hi jacking it!!  DShock I have decided that you are going on my list! My list is as follows:

  1. duckersterman
  2. DShock
  3. bassman
  4. JC & LF

This list represents the people that I hope to one day spend a day with fishing on some body of water if I live long enough.

You cannot remove your name from this list! It has been carved in stone!

What a HONOR! I would like to thank my Parents and all the people that supported me on my way up the ladder!
Do I get my choice of Stone?
Thanks,
Doug

Do I get my choice of Stone?

Come to Tennessee and we will discuss it over fish in the ElK River. Who knows, you may get your choice!

I would love to fish with you Warren! My Grandfather migrated from Tenn. and I have never been there. I think I’m a distant relative of the singer Jack Greene (Country Western)
Could you tell me your city location and I will look it up on Google???
Doug

79 miles due North of Chattanooga

Warren,
Thanks! How often does Jack visit those Distilleries??? Once a week? twice a week? every day?
Thanks,
Doug

Since I have to go to work everyday and Jack does not, I cannot answer that question!! Only Jack and his hairdresser knows for sure!

Speaking of work shouldn’t you guys be doing some?!
When I found out they don’t give free samples at the distilleries I quit going!!
There, I’ve hijacked my own thread!!

Jack, we are not hijacking your thread…we are just saying hi jack!!!

They may not give FREE samples, but what’s that wood barrel doin’ in the back of your Jeep Jack??
Mike

Them barrels is for plantin’ tomatoes in. Anybody down here can tell you that. <hic>

Ed

P.S. Some fellows will deliver. If you order a couple of cases of Mason jars, they’ll bring right out to your place. Now they charge quite a high price for delivered Mason jars; but, like cracker jacks, there’s a surprise in every one… BTW, was there a thread here? Obviously it is a very loose thread.

Ed,

Tried to get Jack to go fishing after I left work last night and he said he could not go because he was having a yard sale?? Something about getting rid of a bunch of “canning jars” that were in his way.

BTW I went and caught 16 trout. Fished your bluegill hole and caught about 9 really nice bluegill plus one fish I have never caught on a fly rod that was about 3 foot long and wouldn’t you know it, I did not bring my camera! It was a gar!! At first I was excited about landing it and then I wondered how to get the fly back! Used my “Ketchum-Release” tool with no problems. Sure wish I had my camera with me. I will probably never catch another one on a fly rod. Oh, well, it was fun. BTW it came out of that warm water about 6 feet from where the hatchery water enters the river in case you want to give it a go.

Well this thread is history!!
So, Ed isn’t that the spot you thought a carp broke you off? Wonder if it was the Gar?

Jack,
Your feeling of rejection should have vanished by now.
Would you have recieved the good natured banter and ribbing on a foreign site?
I suspect that you would not.
Do you have a bunch of internet cronnies over there?
Probably no to that one either.
Next time dont raise your face too soon .

Jack,
I’m a little upset with you! Warren let the cat out of the bag that YOU have been fishing TWO times a day!
365 days a year x 2!!!
We still won’t reject you!
Doug

Jack, I suppose that it is possible, but it sure looked like a carp when I cast to it. It is close to where I was broken off.

Warren, I don’t suppose that your gar had in its mouth the same woolly bugger that I showed you last week, did it? Warren, if you keep fishing that warm water parts of the Duck, you might run up quite a score of gar. I don’t know how things are now, but most folks used to throw gar up on the bank to raise a stink. I wish that they would at least take 'em home for fertilizer, if they are going to kill them.

Doug;
I’ve had to miss a few days showing my camper to potential buyers. Sold it Wed evening and while showing the buyer how everything worked the faucet for the sink exploded!! Thursday I ordered a new one. Then I found that the coach battery was shot so it was off to TSC for a new one. The new owner called to tell me that the insurance company needed to take pictures of it. That took care of Thursday. Today I’m waiting for the RV dealer to tell me that the part has arrived so I can replace it and pack the camper up.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot! I lost my credit card after TSC and have to wait for the UPS truck Saturday to deliver my new one!! Not a good week!!

Ed;
Come on down Monday afternoon and we’ll see if we can find that carp!

What was this thread about anyway??
