Hello,
I am thinking of heading down to the Pigeon Forge area over Labor Day. Can anyone recommend good places to do a little casting? I also would like recommendations on a nice, reasonably priced rustic cabin, in a non-condo setting for myself, my wife, her little dog, and four teenagers?

Go on up the road over the mountain to Townsend it is only about a 30 minute ride. Pleanty of places to stay cheaper. Pleanty of nice fishing spots. Make a visit to Little River Outfitters in Townsend. John
Yeah, stay away from Pigeon Forge and especially Sevierville.
Townsend is the place you want to be. NO TOURISTS!!
