I’m taking a trip next month to visit family in the Melbourne/Cocoa Beach area. I’ve read that there is excellent fly-fishing for redfish in the area and am hoping that someone has a recommendation for a guide in the area. I would most likely only be able to fish one day, and would be fishing by myself and would prefer more of a flats/sight fishing approach.

Great guide and a personal friend of mine, I have fished many times with him and he works hard for the client.
He fishes the areas you are interested in. And just a heads up, there is an outbreak of brown algae in the northern part of the lagoon system and the fishing can be tough in that part of the lagoon, but it hasn’t affected Melbourne/ Cocoa Beach yet.
