WOW, Nasty looking fly!

Hi Fireman,

I was just wondering which species of fish you are going after with those flies. They sure look like they will hold anything that you hook up with. 8T

I jumped back just looking at them !!

Um, I have always wanted a pet snake!!! WINK WINK ;);)

I don’t even have to feed it

Looks like a contender for Fly of the Week to me…

Brad

This is used on the smallies and larger trout. But Im sure anything else would probably take a bite out of it too. I tie this on when I notice the smallmouth hitting the fly with out alot of hook sets. Its cured the problem in the past

Brad,

were you the one making the Fly Pig Furled Leaders?

That would be me.

great flies buddy.
pm’d ya incidentally…

Awesome flies. What type of beads did you use (the gold ones)?

Logan,

They are just beads used out of my supplies for tying bead heads. Anything will work its basically up to the tyer. Im using these on some faster water so I wanted some depth out of them.

Mr. Blur,

I pm’ed you back.

thanks,
Seege

Wicked-looking buggers Seege. I’ll bet they’ll work very well! Nice flies.

Chuck n’ duck…watch yer hinder!

Jeremy.

Would you be willing to post a recipe up for that “snake”? I think the browns on the white would hammer that in an olive and tan. And I know the smallies around here would attack it too.

Great looking fly!!!

As the crowds begin to chant:
flyoftheweek
flyoftheweek
flyoftheweek
flyoftheweek

No doubt! What do you cast those with?

EXCELLENT-looking flies!!

fireman great looking fly, Looking at it closely I can tell how to tie it. Thanks for sharing.
I have picked up tying flies, like bees make honey. jcntheriver

Let see your version. Curious about the shock leader in red snelled to the hook. What pound test and how well it holds up under multiple fish with teeth. Thinking of going with Mason wire. Any thoughts???
