Another new feature of the Expo will be a chance to have answers to such questions through Ralph Moon?s expertise. Throughout the Expo Ralph and his crew of bamboo rod aficionados (Dave Moseley of Hamilton MT and Greg Shockley of CA) will man a station from which they can inspect your cane piece to help determine whether or not it is a treasure. They will also help in determining the extent of repairs required to bring it into ?operating condition? and perhaps where you can obtain such repairs.

I’m delighted to see Ralph is well enough to participate! He’s a super guy.

Ditto on Ralph - what a warm, wonderful human being. If ever there was a good reason to re-watch a movie, its to smile again when Ralph’s name comes up at the end of “A River Runs Through It”.

Pardon the ignorace, but what was his part in the movie?

Ralph was the rod consultant for the movie, making sure the proper period hardware was used.

For his exceptional level of talent and ability, Ralph is the most humble and down the earth person I have ever met.
